IDEANET Expands Fiber Reach Across East Java Business Corridors
APRIL 1, 2025

Surabaya, 2 April 2025: IDEANET is extending fiber access along East Java business corridors, including Surabaya, Malang, and the districts between them. The work adds last-mile options for companies that already run more than one site and need the same class of connection in each city.
The services on these routes are the ones IDEANET already delivers nationally: dedicated internet access, broadband, IP transit, Layer 1, and L2 or L3 VPN. A hotel group, a manufacturer, or a branch network can keep private traffic on a VPN and use a separate internet circuit for guests or the public web.
IDEANET's network is built for that mix. Traffic can leave through more than one upstream, with direct peering and a local cache so popular content does not have to cross the same international path twice. Core pipes on the network run from 10G to 100G. Coverage today spans more than 40 cities, with a Surabaya office at Jl. Opak No. 32, Darmo, for local delivery and support.
For a single building the change is straightforward: a dedicated circuit sized to the site, then Wi-Fi, firewall, and SD-WAN if the site also needs to join other locations. For a multi-site operator the same design repeats, so a new branch does not start from a different product list. Commercial terms are quoted per project through the IDEANET sales team.
