IDEANET Device Program Simplifies CPE Rollouts for Branches

OCTOBER 7, 2024

Jakarta, 8 October 2024: IDEANET is supplying customer-premises equipment as a repeatable rollout, not as a box the branch has to configure from a manual. Routers, switches, and access points leave with a configuration that matches the site type: a branch, a hotel floor, or a small office.

The hardware list is ordinary on purpose. Router, switch, access point, firewall, and VPN or SD-WAN where the site has to join other locations. Pre-provisioning means the address plan, the guest network, and the management access are decided before the carton arrives. The person on site mounts and patches. They do not invent a new design.

That matters for a chain. The second property should look like the first, or the helpdesk spends the year explaining exceptions. A hotel refresh can include the wireless design. A branch opening can include the firewall and the VPN back to head office. Both are the same program with a different template.

Spares, firmware, and who owns the device after installation belong in the statement of work. IDEANET can supply the equipment, implement it, and then leave it with the customer, or keep it inside a managed service. Those are different contracts.
